As promised in my last post, I've included the video of my interactive space from our BVW Festival. It's sort of hard to capture how it felt to be in the space, but I think this is as good as we can show it. Enjoy. It's only 3 minutes long. Basically it was an interactive space, involving audio and visual call-and-response. Check it.
In exciting news, I saw Star Wars: The Force Awakens and it was AWESOME but completely predictable. I want to see it again, next time in 3D though. I will say that Leia's got some pastry-tastic hair going on, and I like it.
In personal fulfillment news, I'm looking forward to New Year's - I think the resolution for this year is to continue running (I have been less than diligent since school has started) and of course complete the NYC Marathon in November. I think I can IthinkIcanIthinkIcan. Also to procure an internship for Summer 2016. Also to quote Bridget Jones, "Resolution number one: Obviously will lose twenty pounds. Number two: Always put last night's panties in the laundry basket.” Words to live by.
In final news, tomorrow I head back to NYC. So when you all read this... I'm back! Hello from the outside! I'll be in town until the New Year, and then I head to LA for my school's much touted WEST COAST TRIP, where we will be herded like cattle from professional environment to professional environment. To network. Or something. We're going to Disneyland. From there, I shall venture back to the Pitt, but not before a quick extended layover in Chicago where I shall visit Roarky (word out sister!) and enjoy a relaxing gluten free weekend.
Farewell, and let me leave with the wise words of Samuel Beckett: "...sur les ailes de poule de la nécessité." (That's 'on the chicken wings of necessity' for you non French readers). 10 pts to name the book that line is from.
